We decided to go there as a family. We've been to the Orlando water parks Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach so we were not expecting that type of experience in Fishkill. First, of all it is relatively expensive almost 30 per person.
What travelers are saying
It was more rolling waves, rather then huge waves. Next, get there when it opens and hit all the rides as early as possible. The lines grow and grow as the day goes on. The half pike ride was a lot of fun and scarey, but the lines is bad by The other slides are not so bad and some of them except for the Toilet Bowl slide have minimal waits even in the early afternoon.
The slides are a lot of fun and all ages of kids can enjoy them. We ate at the park and found the food to be not that expensive. Lounge chairs are hard to find unless you get there early and put towels on them People were waiting for us to leave to get our chairs. Same goes for life vests. Get there early and grab them for the kids. You won't be able to find them after Parking is free and it is easy to get to. We stayed there almost 5 hours and my girls could have stayed longer.
I would recommend!! Changing rooms are OK though they tended to smell.
