When hotel identity revealed, 3 star as advertised on Wotif site. Clearly false advertising, deceptive and misleading conduct. Long winded responses, left on hold for half an hour at time, transferred between countries.

Responses in line with cheat sheet in India. Do not book mystery hotels, a scam. The 3 star hotel we ended with that good it hasn't had a TripAdvisor review this year. Everything has now been sorted. Thank you to man i talked to today from Wotif. Very cheap accommodation so we didnt expect too much, so we left to go to the party happy that we had somewhere to stay and could have drink there. So why did I score it a 1 star well there was a note in our room that said room may be noisy until 12 midnight, we did think about sleeping in the car.

It was only when I checked in and the hotel staff said I booked through Expedia that I found out that wotif has been taken over by Expedia. I have an issue with being mislead. If I wanted to book through Expedia I would have done so That way I know who I am booking through.

    If you can't be transparent then you show that you are not a brand that is of face value to me.

Wotif Group was acquired by Expedia group in November This change bought lots of benefits: more hotel choices, more flight choic If this is the case then why don't you have on the front page of the wotif website that it is proudly now owned by Expedia.

    When a business changes hands the public who use the business should at least know. Now I know I won't be using either. Due to a family emergency I needed to cancel our two day stay in San Francisco. This is robbery. If I had booked directly with the hotel I would have been charged zero!
