The decor is very chic , albeit the music did leave a lot to be desired. We will visit again , might even use a Voucher once more!! Nice location on the canal side and great atmosphere and decor, costly cocktails but the lemon pie was really nice. Can imagine it gets abit over crowded at weekends but great in the week! I went here for my birthday with the girls as i had heard that it did amazing cocktails.
That it does. The drinks we had were fun and tasty and for the price you really can't go wrong.

I would highly recommend Aluna to anyone who likes cocktails. The one barman was really friendly and he was setting our cocktails on fire, using dry ice, colour changing them He was very fun and even got us to mix our own cocktails! My only complaint would be one of the barmen was very cocky and over confident when serving me and my friends which wasn't great. He was also quite rude when we were asking him simple questions, and noticeably rude to other staff members.
This is however the only negative. Apart from this all bar staff were attentive and fun I can't comment on the food because we didn't eat here, but it looked and smelt really good when other people were having it! Fantastic atmosphere, greeted in a lovely friendly manner, waiting staff attentive.
Most important, the food was fab. I treated my son, mom and dad to a lunch time meal and was lucky to obtain a fantastic deal, but having this deal did not compromise the service or food! The decor is fabulous and felt there was a wonderful ambience.

I will be taking hubby next time Some friends and I went out for dinner and drinks at Aluna and we had all been really looking forward to it. The decor was really nice and the food and drinks were good too. However, the service was pretty shambolic. After ordering our drinks, we waited for about 15 minutes for them to come. After having our drinks for 10 minutes, the waiter comes over and asks my friend if she had sipped her drink as he has given her the wrong one - she tells him that he has and he takes it away and gives her a new one.
We then see the waiter give the same drink that my friend drank out of to a different customer! We told the waiter what had happened and he looked mortified and put his finger to his mouth and went sssshhhh. We were all horrified.

He then went away for 5 minutes I assume to panic and then went decided to do the right thing and take the drink from the customer. When our mains came out, one of the waiters spilt some of my food on the table, however, this was cleared away quickly and the waiter apologised. We then ordered some prosecco, the waiters took away two of the glasses inbetween the first and second bottle. When the two new glasses came out, they were wet still from the dish washer and then waiter poured the prosecco in without drying them. Another waiter then walks up from the bar to the table with two raspberries in his hand and the drops them in the drink.
One of the glasses had a lipstick stain on so was sent back. It was such a shame about the service!

I understand that Aluna is new so hopefully it was a few teething problems. However, I'm not in any rush to go back.
