Majority of the time the water is clear blue, however depending on the current weather, the clarity of the water as well as the amount of seaweed can vary. I love the sand and clear water of Mexico and El Dorado did not disappoint. Are there palapas set up to the point where finding an UNshaded area is difficult? Looking at the photos, the palapas and cabanas located on the beach are wall-to-wall. This resort does offer a good amount of pool and beach seating. However the amount of seating can vary depending on the occupancy at the resort during your travel dates.

It was a pretty laid back beach. While everyone wasn't tanning topless, plenty were so if it's your thing, go for it!
