That night went on porch with white socks, had to throw socks away, wife said to dirty to clean. Found maids room unlocked got towel wet it and poured shampoo on terrace and walked around on towel, turns out tile color was beige not gunmetal gray. Most restaurants have same tiny menu day after day, buffet the same but better selection. Beef is virtually non existent, tiny portions and overcooked. All potato and rice dishes are cold. Liquor selection poor, drink mixes poor quality and dilution inconsistent. Beaches are clean. Salads, bread and pastries are good.

I even took probiotics, used hand sanitizer and avoided all raw food, but none of that mattered! We are still dealing with the stomach issues since arriving home 5 days later and I've had to book a doctor's appointment. This is something I haven't had to deal with at other adults-only resorts in the hotel zone.
The other ridiculous thing is being harassed by timeshare sharks on multiple occasions. One time, we were just having a relaxing morning coffee outside the coffee shop. Another time I just wanted help at the concierge, but the interrogation began. This is my vacation and I am not interested! No bathtub and the tiny toilet was at a ridiculous angle so you hardly had any space between the toilet and wall. I am a skinny person and still had problems with weird design.
Everything else just felt like an afterthought at this resort. For instance, the pool table in the lobby. The ping pong table on the terrace.

How about just turn Egos Bar into a sports bar since no one ever uses Egos Bar? Considering how many people were watching sports in the Aka Bar, just make a proper sports bar like every other resort has. I also think this may be a part of the identity crisis this resort has. The crowd was just a mixed bag because they are trying to get both crowds and I think they should just stick to marketing for one and design the resort accordingly.
Positives — Outside of the timeshare reps, the staff were all fairly pleasant and friendly. The restaurants MB and Hidden Garden had great ambiance and the food tasted well. I am shocked at all the almost religious followers to this resort. This was our first one week trip in Mexico where we could not wait to leave and get home. Date of stay: October Rooms. Room Tip: If you want a bathtub, you will have to pay a lot more.

But, after reading recent reviews I wanted to add mine. We just returned from being there last week. The bad: My husband and I got diarrhea the third day we were there- vacation over. Spent 24 hours in bed, and really never cared to drink or eat much after that. Home for 4 days- still have diarrhea sorry for all the info! The hotel has an odd layout- no large common hangout area in the evening. Other: The food was ok- nothing bad, but nothing amazing either. Thought it was odd that there was no bacon for breakfast.
They had the same thing for breakfast every day- it got old after a couple of days. We were hit up for timeshares just once- I gave a very firm no way and that was the end of that. The staff are all very friendly, pools are fantastic, free foot massage with cabana was very relaxing, love the spa-like aroma throughout. Schedule of events and restaurant options not always accurate. This hotel is one of the better ones from our experience of inclusive hotels around the world.
Location is great with proximity to beach and shopping malls. Room is clean and modern. A good variety of restaurants. Pools aren't the largest but comfortable not too crowded to swim in. I especially like the fact it's adult-only, making the hotel much quieter. It's also obvious that some towels were left on the chair giving people the impression it's occupied while the guest has already left. Perhaps because we were staying only 1 night, and the hotel staff would focus more on people who stay longer.
Not that we are super upset about it, just different vs my expectation. Everything was beyond amazing. The atmosphere wows you the minute you step into the lobby to check-in. Never without a drink or activity at hand. We will absolutely be returning :. Took up a good chunk of our last morning even though we were repeatedly told it would only be 30 minutes.
Amazing trip. This resort goes the extra mile.
Other Options
The little things that make it exceptional. My only recommendation is that they have more than 1 restaurant choice for breakfast than the buffet. There are many restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner, adding breakfast would be the one addition to make this resort the very BEST. Otherwise, facility was clean, convenient, impeccable service, cabanas are very worth the price.

Very upscale beautiful resort. The best food, prepared elegantly. The hotel was under renovation. No one at the check in mentioned anything about it and put up in a room directly under it. Guests can enjoy amenities like the Feel Harmony Spa, relaxing in the pool, swimming with dolphins, and fishing. Adventurists will love the wide variety of recreational activities that the hotel has to offer.
