We were met with a warm friendly reception from all staff, room was great and food excellent. Would highly recommend the oxenham arms and will definitely be staying again in the future.

Warm old world charm,made to feel at home with friendly staff, Excellent room and breakfast and evening meal in bar and restaurant. What a fascinating place with so much history. Lovely atmosphere with cosy bar and various snugs. We stayed in the Bovey Room which was spacious and well furnished and had a HUGE bed which was very comfy and had pristine white linen.

Lovely large walk-in shower which was nice and powerful too. Throughly enjoyable stay at the hotel.

It has everything you want - excellent service, comfy bed, great food and selection of real ales. To add to it you have the wonderful history and the stories behind the previous famous guests.
