Straight out of the bag there was a hole in the seam of the dress and the stitching in places is very lazily done. The fabric of the dress is very light and cheap feeling, blowing upwards with the slightest gust of wind, so unless you want to have more than one Marilyn Monroe moment whenever you wear this dress i wouldn't recommend it. And if you have any semblance of boobs the Marilyn Manson logo will go from a circle to a mushroom whenever it's worn. I love the socks that i bought but they only come in one size and one size certainly doesn't fit all.
They refuse to stay anywhere near over my knees, instead their preferred residence is somewhere mid calf. Its almost impossible to where the socks without the pattern warping from cute cats to squashed cats. I was given one of the Wednesday Addams style dresses when the brand first came out, and was suprised at how comfortable it was, and so when some things went on sale I would snag them I was suprised I could squeeze into their largest size , but it seems that with the hype they gained, they lowered their standards on craftsmanship.
Some of the designs are nice, others are I would definitely rather stick to smaller stores and second-hand shops, but they were nice in the beginning for the "oh hey! I have money I can spend! I agree i definitely prefer getting stuff from smaller brands but because i had to pay through my mum's card i wanted to make sure nothing bad happened with the money so i chose alarger brand. Man this sucks tobhear.
They have a lot of moon themed stuff that looks cute as hell. Any idea where I could find something similar? Killstar sucks. I don't know why people rave about them so much and seem so proud to be a corporate schill for them. I get the sense that part of it stems from the amount of freebies they give to YouTubers and Instagrammers, and the current popularity of cheap and nasty fast fashion.
Part of it, anyway. There's more to it but this is as far as I'm taking my thought process first thing on a Monday morning. I wouldn't buy from them anyway. I don't like Killstar designs or other brands in that style.
Sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience, though. Regardless of whether it's a store or brand that I'd support, I know how disappointing this can be - especially when you've probably had to save up for a while to buy the clothes. What smaller labels would you recommend specifically ones that carry men's clothes , I'm struggling to find some!
I'm not a big fan of Killstar or Blackcraft but they're the only ones I can find with non-Band designs for men I'd actually wear. To be honest I have a lot of killstar stuff and only one thing has ever failed me, it was their "CRUE" denim jeans, they faded so quickly. Everything else has been lovely though! I also got the Marilyn Manson jumper from last October and it's lovely, really comfy. Plus I have one of their bags which I use all the time when travelling, it's perfectly sized for all my trips. Are there any other brands that are skinny fitting and do nice guys stuff?
Also, any crappy manufacturing should easily be resolvable with the company.

I'm not sold on them myself. I find that it seems that the skater dresses and hoodies are fine if a little dodgy with the stitching but to find stuff that's alt and not too over the top is hard. The other thing I've noticed with some times I've bought, the models are tiny, but they're clearly wearing items in the biggest size. I use them a lot for work clothes tbh. The Wednesday style items are fine and a few of the dresses I can get away with and I have two bags the velvet pentagram bucket bag thing and the leather messenger bag with the two pentagrams.
