Do not do business with this company. It angers me so much that a company of this size runs on such a business model of lies and robbery of people. I feel like they are preying off people who do not have the knowledge to know any better and it hurts me to see these people get screwed over by this crooked company. So, I went on a timeshare tour at Orlando Westgate with my son because they offered us discount tickets to Universal Studios and other parks. The rep told me keep an open mind, I think his name was Jessie and after it all and I said, "No thank you," he said, condescendingly, "Guess you won't be taking anything to the grave to pass on to your son".
His body language the whole time was to sell, sell, sell. Not even the attitude of giving an opportunity to vacation or help people get vacation property. They ask you all these personal questions so they can regurgitate at you once you turn them down. Then they get their "boss" to try to close the deal. They were like savages. I said, "Thank you anyway". No 'thank you for your time' So rude! They try to bribe you with breakfast and coupons and discounts. I went to get my tickets they promised to me and ran so fast away.
I would see the reps all over Orlando and the hunger in their eyes smh. Especially already being a timeshare owner with another company, I learned a lot of things the hard way. It sounds good in the beginning but they don't even let you do research, it's now or never they say you can't do tour twice. How do you make such a decision like that on the spot??!! And who are you to worry about my life!! Expose the information and move on! No commission off of me buddy! Now, why would I get involved with something who has people like him as the face of the company?
I can do bad by myself without a financial commitment to those people. My husband and I purchased a Vacation Travel Package that could be added to a possible timeshare. We were told and reviewed our contract that said we could start using the package after we paid a certain down payment. Please explain to me why say you can take up to 2 yrs to pay this balance but you can't use it until it's fully paid. But, We were told we had two years to use the program before it expired.
Everything was suppose to be on the USB that they gave us, but it has not worked since we have tried to view it. Westgate Resorts is a total scam, run from these people. I have heard so many horror stories since I have purchased this packet. They are a scam!!! I just want out of this mess!!!! No record found. Spend hour no solution. We has a picture taken with Santa and Mrs. We did not know where to get a copy of our picture, but was in communication all week with our personal Westgate rep through text messages.
On our way home she text us one more time to ask how our week went and we asked for a copy of our picture, and just received it in the mail this evening. Told him I have never been on tour with Westgate or anyone else for that matter. I was told to call corporate. Said I would receive a call back in 20 mins once they review. An hour later still no callback. So I called them back, the rep stated that they tried to call me back but was told it was the wrong , which is a lie because no one called me. I could not believe this was happening.

We were sold a telemarketed vacation package to Vegas. All was well, we enjoyed our time there other than being harassed every time we walked in the door to do a timeshare presentation which we had already done. Otherwise - the room was nice and we enjoyed our time. We paid it off early, and booked our vacation at their Orlando Town Center location.
