Elizabeth Brown. Born and raised in Sarasota, Dr Brown received both her undergraduate and veterinary medicine degrees from the University of Florida. After initially practicing in California for several years, Dr Brown moved back to Florida with her husband, Sam also a Sarasota native. Dr Brown also uses chiropractic manipulation, physical therapy and recently completed a course in Canine Rehabilitation Therapy to further her ability to help our companions.

Outside of the clinic, Beth spends time with her husband and her daughter, Sandy. Dr Voorhees has advanced training and extensive experience in acupuncture, chiropractic, herbology, homeopathy, and nutritional therapies. She is certified by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and has basic and advanced training with the American Veterinary Homeopathic Association.

She uses her certifications to help integrate other ways of practicing medicine, alongside conventional medicine. She has a strong core in internal medicine, behavior, dermatology, preventative medicine and chronic disease management.

As a physical rehabilitation doctor, she uses therapeutic exercises, underwater treadmill, massage and laser therapy, as well as acupuncture and chiropractic treatment to help dogs and cats with musculoskeletal and neurologic diseases. These range from recovering from surgical procedures, to helping with weight management and arthritis.
