You simply go to the restaurant to pick up your order and deliver it to the customers. It is so simple. We get reimbursed for the beverages we have to pick up from a convenient store. We get to keep all of our tips. For the mileage we spend delivering in our cars, we can write that off on our taxes. Overall, this is a great company to work for. I would recommend because you meet a lot of great people. There are even some drivers who have been working here for over 7 years! Uncertain hours and pay.
You never know when you will get an order and you dont get paid for downtime. They dont fix menu issues timely. No quick response for customer issues. Lots of customers dont tip and that's the biggest part of your wage. The management does not have any morals, integrity, or ethics toward the value of people. If you dont enjoy driving in such conditions this is not for you.

I loved the job until he took over. Company is a joke. I did it for a week and left this job. In no sense this is a profitable job. I was losing money.
I would rather not work than to work here. Also the manager here in Fargo is rude, needs to be replaced. Unless you can work all the time its not worth the effort. Unless you can do this job full time or work all the time, it is not worth your energy or effort. Only been doing it a week, part time and can honestly say I would make more part time in retail. You do get paid daily, however it is not until pm at night, because it's a smaller office they said they have until the end of the night.
You will get a form for a for tax purposes, so make sure you keep track of any and all business related expenses, such as gas receipts and car maintenance. So other than that there is no compensation for gas or wear and tear on your vehicle, and you will be driving ALL across town. But they are fairly flexible with scheduling, just as long as you make sure to get your 3 shifts in a week.

A kid answered and took the food. I thought nothing of it. Also a lot of people don't tip. Don't take a job here. And then I was told by my manager that I would ruin her livelyhood if I wrote a bad review and begged me to take it off of Google reviews and Facebook. Make no money. I averaged 8 dollars a delevery for 10 deliveries.

If they ordered from Applebees they delivery would be on the west side 15 min to 20 min delivery. Job sucks. No uniform nice paid the next day nice. Everything else sucked. Mixed up Management - Poor Communication. Food Dudes is a business that will likely go out of business within a year or so. They cannot compete with Grub Hub and other professionally managed companies that provide similar services. There was a consistent miscommunication from the corporate office and the local office. This led to frustration with mixed up orders, payroll and knowing who was really in charge of day to day operations.
Working for another drive delivery company and find that it is reasonably well managed and communication is clear and consistent. Choose another company if you are considering this contract labor position.
