Walking along the stroll is amazing. We brought the dog so that limited us and it was colder then we expected. However this was a last minute trip taken on a whim and we did not pack enough warm clothing. The snow on the top of the mountains was amazing as were all the views.

We really enjoyed our trip and the drive there and back is amazing. The air is so fresh up there, it's so nice. Whistler is definitely the best place on earth to practice winter sports. It hosted a winter Olympics games once and maintained all the infrastructural benefits after. It is a bit pricy for those coming from emerging countries but is worthwhile.

Lots of great stuff to do in the late-summer with a trip up the mountain, mountain biking or checking out the shops around the village. Not a fan of prices, the parking snipers high tech equipment to quickly administer parking fines and crowds. ALL parking requires payment. My wife has some disability and primarily used scooter - provision for disability assistance primarily with ready and easy ramp access could have been better. Restaurants were really good and pretty expensive - best one was Rimrock Cafe. If you like the outdoors and are willing to pay for a catered experience, it's a great place.

Whistler bike park is second to none and the ski terrain is incredible. You pay for it all though!!!! Lots of other activities to keep anyone entertained. Note that it's becoming obvious that there is no good solution for worker housing. Expect varied service levels as some places are understaffed and some staff are not stars. We stayed in the sister hotel to executive suits, which was situated right on village stroll, the heart of Whistler village.

We were informed that we were staying in the sister hotel upon check, in which the staff were informative of where to go to find it. Our room was great! Comfortable and clean. The wifi kept dropping in and out, which once we informed staff they sent someone right away to resolve it.

Despite being closely located to the hustle and bustle of the town including the bars, our room was very quiet. Enjoyed our stay here a lot! First off the building and rooms are fantastic, very beautiful. The hotel is literally right next to nita lake and they offer complimentary canoes and mountain bikes. The staff are very cheerful and helpful.

As soon as we arrived we booked an extra night because we liked it so much. Its about a minute drive to whistler village and they offer a shuttle to the tourist centre at the village. Sunday Buffet was extraordinary as were their Concierge Services. The staff was also wonderful and very helpful in recommending and reserving activities and dining outside of the hotel.

It was our Anniversary and we were treated to a very nice plate of chocolates as we entered our room.

Our experience was that the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is the best there is.. The host was excellent in communications its a house share really rather than a hotel as you rent a private section of the house. The location is amazing, free parking, very peaceful, twenty mins walk from whistler village or around five mins driveand lots of hikes nearby. The flat itself is lovely, really spacious, hot water, good heating and good storage space. We were there for the Wanderlust Whistler Yoga Retreat.

This property was close to village, both walking and driving distance. It has a lovely patio. There was a nice fireplace which would be handy in the winter months. The place is amazing. Located in a quiet area, surrounded by nature and yet very close to the Village. Bus 5 stops at the door. Short walk to the slopes through forrest trails. I went as solo traveler.

I decided to stay there as the deal last minute - week days was cheaper than the pod hotel for one person. The proximity to entrances to both blackcomb and whistler was ideal. The hotel was able to secure us ski rentals and a reduced rate which was very helpful.
